Looking for a gift for a wry baby in your life? I can hook you up. Obviously, the babies won’t know how funny they are, but their parents will!
All of these items are available on Amazon. I tried to find ones that had Prime shipping, but check before buying. (Just click on the title or the image itself and it’ll take you to the Amazon page where you can find it.)
Here we go!
One of my favorite things to do with babies is to imagine what they’re thinking when they make all of those hilarious faces. I love it when they look at you like you’re a fool who has no idea what you’re doing. Man, babies are so danged funny.
“I SHIZZLED IN MY DIZZLE (FOR RIZZLE)” ONESIE
I don’t know why this one makes me laugh so hard. Did you ever see the website called The Shizzolator? It was only up for a matter of weeks, but it altered the text of any website to make it sound like Snoop Dogg had written it. Hubby and I DIED, it was so entertaining. Sadly, but not surprisingly, it got taken down. Probably because it made www.whitehouse.gov say things like, “President Big Baby Bush be like, ‘Fo shizzle we can’t leave no shorties behind.‘” Seriously. It was one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen. This onesie brings back some awesome shizzolated memories.
The text on this is hard to read unless you click on the link, but the small text says, “You little rebel. I like you.” Cute.
“CRYING GETS YOU THINGS” ONESIE
Crying gets you things. I really does. No denying it. Babies are smarter than we are. End of story.
“AC/DC . . . No wait, AB/CD (FOR THOSE ABOUT TO TALK)” ONESIE
This is a shout out to all you rockers out there. “You Shook Me All Night Long” seems like a perfect baby anthem, doesn’t it?
And here’s a shout out to all you children of the 80s. Hey, that’s me! Remember that Friends episode where Ross and Rachel fight over the Frankie Says Relax t-shirt? That’s what this reminds me of. Total Gen-X nostalgia gift right here.
Get it?? Crawl DMC? Ha! My 15-year-old didn’t get it. I’m clearly failing at teaching her proper pop culture references. The youngster can wear this and you can sing to them, “Baby, baby, why ya buggin?”
Hungry + Angry = HANGRY
“I’m silently correcting your grammar.” I’ve got a special little place in my heart for this one. 🙂
“KEEP CALM AND CARRY ME” ONESIE
Personally, I’m a little over the whole “Keep Calm and Whatever” thing, but this one still made me laugh. Perfectly play on the theme 🙂
For the young jedi in training . . .
“Player 3 Has Entered the Game.” Admittedly, I’m not a gamer, but my mom, dad, and brother are. In fact, my little brother is the In-Game Cinematic Project Director for Blizzard Entertainment. He makes World of Warcraft movies. This one’s for him. 🙂
Am I the only one who calls pacifiers binkies? I used to be kind of a snob about binkies. Then I had a baby. So, yeah. Mute button it is.
“COPY AND PASTE” TWIN HATS
These are my FAVORITE! I love me some twin humor. And, you know, I’m a writer. Copy and Paste is darned funny.
Weee! Wouldn’t these make a new parent’s day? So fun to buy things for babies. Happy Shopping!

I think that onesies with funny sayings are a good gift for a friend who is having a baby. Because most people have more pictures taken of them when they are a baby than any other time in their life funny onesies also make for a good picture. I would love to look back on pictures of my kids when they were babies and remember the funny phrases that were going around when they were growing up.
