When you live in the upper Midwest, you really don’t expect spring to hit until well into April. So these past two days of 60+ degree weather have been a real treat.
The moppets love sidewalk chalk, and they happily hauled out the bucket today.
The Muse and Dolittle each made their own hopscotch games.
Check out the difference between a 10-year-old and a 6-year-old hopscotch.
Half of Dolittle’s numbers are written backwards. If she were my first child, this would probably worry me. But I’ve seen enough kids go through the backwards-number phase to know that it’ll work itself out. In the meantime, it’s adorable.
BoyWonder found another pink bike and helmet. A real one, this time.
Woops! Showing us a little diaper action there. Gotta make sure those pedals are nice and tight. He’s very big on safety.
Alas, poor BoyWonder doesn’t have a bike of his own. Our tricycle is in storage, and we hadn’t anticipated having trike weather this early. So he ran along behind his sisters.
Dolittle, our little speed demon, almost ditched the training wheels last fall. It won’t be long here before she’s flying free.
(Sigh.)

It won’t be long before they’re all flying free.
